Another reason I think the demons wanted to be cast into pigs is because pigs are FULL of fucking parasites and extremely unsanitary, this is why the torah refers to them as unclean animals, so they'd make the perfect vessels for demonic parasites. Well, If you do go that route u suggest you research dry fasting,, it's super effective for alot of illnesses. There's also a version of dry fasting called the SNAKE diet strangely enough. Dry fasting for 7 days though? You'd probably die from that.
