Underground she is preparing a massive army while the people above ground have no idea.
They showed also that plants are fungus and trees are murderous killers and fungus too. A guy stole a mushroom from a tree on maleficent's kingdom and when he brought it to his world it was a plant/flower. Then a guy studied it like a code under a microscope to solve it. They zoomed also into that plant and they showed wonderland/earth which is subliminal that earth is a plant=fungus=belly of a beast.
In that scene they had intel lunar boss is kidnapping people from the outside world for consumption and experiments. Note the medusa mask at his door. Symbolizing how we all have been kidnapped from the outside world if are not the sleeping king/zeus/odin himself!
The trees trapping humans at their roots is intel that we are their energy source and batteries like in gog vol 2.(the child kidnapping intel for consumption, battery and experiments was shown also in gog vol 2 where lunar boss was paying people like yondu to bring him kids he was consuming and using as batteries).
