Bloodborne dlc showed our nightmare ends when the moon and sun is gone.

In bloodborne a lot of times the sun was shown as a moon and vice versa and in the  dlc when i defeated kos, it said "nightmare slain" and the moon/sun disappeared from existence.

Which was a give away of our moon and sun moon to be the source of our hell.

I have decoded earth's has 3 moons and how all 3 must be destroyed in order to exit hades/dream/nightmare/matrix etc.
